Maria’s was a solid stop and definitely a place I’d visit again. I had the oysters and fried grouper nuggets, and both were excellent. The food came out fast and tasted incredibly fresh. The oysters were some of the best I’ve had, and at less than $20 for a dozen on the half shell, they were a fantastic value. Considering another restaurant wanted $36 for a dozen, it made the deal even sweeter. The service was a little inconsistent. I was greeted with a friendly face a couple of times, and one employee in particular was consistently welcoming and engaging with customers. The rest of the staff seemed like they might have been having an off day. Still, I didn’t come for the smiles—I came for great food, and that’s exactly what I got. Fresh seafood, great prices, and food that speaks for itself. Maria’s has earned a spot on my list of places to stop whenever I’m coming through Pensacola.

Please dont buy fish from here. If we try to purchase from here and your destination is far away, you will get scammed. I purchased the fish and found many pieces of fish missing after i reached home and checked. I am attaching the photo of fish I received as proof. you can clearly judge the piece of fish missing. Anyway you will not return to complaint as this is long distance from you. I will never to go to this shop to get scammed again

Couldn’t get a table here, as it is a popular destination. Got fish from market instead. Mingo Snapper, Yellow Tail Snapper, and Pompano. Snapper’s gutted and gills removed and Pompano descaled and filleted. They pack with ice for travel. Will return to restaurant and more fish.

First time here. Pretty good seafood market. Not as big as Joe Patti’s obviously, but still has that charm to it. Feels authentic and packs plenty of goodness into a smaller place. I’m impressed by how quick the service is. Everything here was great. Tip: go to the back for extra parking, I ended up doing that I also ended up trying the Old Grill next door. Also very excellent. Great service and food is tasty.

We bought shucked oysters to grill at home. They were amazing. Great prices. The staff were so helpful. I will definitely be back
